The NASCAR action moves to Phoenix Raceway for the first time this season on Sunday, as the Shriners Children’s 500 is held. This race was won by Christopher Bell for the first time in 2024.

Drivers will complete a total distance of 312 miles, with as many laps being covered across three stages. The first stage will see the first 60 laps contested, before 125 laps are covered in the following stage and the final stage will see the remaining 127 laps completed.

Bell looks like a standout pick this weekend after winning each of the last two races. The American dominated the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix last weekend, and moved up to fourth in the overall standings.

However, William Byron remains at the top of the Drivers’ Championship after finishing second. That was a fine return to form after finishing 27th in the Ambetter Health 400.

Ryan Blaney and Tyler Reddick round off the top three places. Chase Elliott also can’t be ruled out after finishing fourth in the race last weekend. Alex Bowman is an interesting chance after finishing in the top ten on two from three races in 2025.
