James Harden and Norman Powell scored 20 points apiece, and both of them shot 3-for-8 from long range. Ivica Zubac finished with 19 points and nine rebounds for a Clippers squad that shot 46.2 percent from 3.
On the other side of the matchup, Nikola Jokic was the headliner for the Nuggets. He logged 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists.
Jamal Murray also finished with 23 points, along with four assists. Aaron Gordon chipped in with 15 points and collected seven rebounds.
The game was somewhat close after the first quarter, with the Clippers leading 35-28. That quickly changed, though, as Los Angeles tightened up its defense, outscoring its opponent by an 82-55 margin the rest of the way.
