The compelling action on the NASCAR schedule continues this weekend, as the field will compete over 400 miles in the Würth 400. This race has been held in its current format since 2005, with the drivers completing a total of 267 laps. The first stage consists of 80 laps, before 85 laps and 102 laps are completed in the final two stages.

Kevin Harvick has been the dominant driver in recent history, winning on four occasions since 2017. However, a number of the leading contenders for success in the race this weekend have previous success in the Würth 400.

There is a very competitive feel to the top of the Drivers’ Championship this season, with William Byron continuing to lead the way after finishing third last time out. However, Kyle Larson has closed the gap at the summit after finishing in the top two spots in each of the last two races.

Last year’s winner of the race also holds interesting claims this weekend, as Chase Elliott has made an excellent start to the season after finishing in the top ten finishing positions in three of the last four races.
