The countdown to the start of the new Formula 1 season is well underway, and the official launch for the campaign takes place at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

All ten teams will be in attendance for the celebration of all things F1, with the liveries for the 2025 cars unveiled. But, how can you watch the action, and what are we expected to learn at the event?

When is F1 75 Live?

F1 75 Live will take place on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the O2 Arena in London. All ten teams will be in attendance, and drivers and team principles are both expected to speak during the launch.

How to Watch F1 75 Live?

As a major starting point for the new season, F1 75 Live will be broadcast across the world. U.S. fans of the sport can watch the special show on ESPN, while it will also be streamed live on the official Formula 1 YouTube channel.

F1 75 Live- What to Expect

This year’s F1 75 Live Launch event is expected to raise anticipation levels ahead of the new season, with all drivers and team principles set to be involved. Each team will still have their individual car launches, with Williams and McLaren unveiling their cars last week.

Ferrari will launch their 2025 car on February 19, 2025. However, the event in London will see each team showcase their new liveries for the upcoming season.

But, it is worth noting that car specs and official details surrounding each car will not be announced at the O2. It is also a notable moment in F1 history, as the event marks the first celebratory occasion for the sport as it celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025.

How Significant is F1 75 Live?

While official details surrounding each car on the grid are being kept under wraps, the event does promise to increase anticipation levels ahead of the start of the new season.

It promises to be one of the most enthralling seasons in the sport’s history, and there is no doubt all eyes will be on Lewis Hamilton in London. The seven-time world champion will be making his first media appearance as a Ferrari driver, as he forms a dream team alongside Charles Leclerc.

There will also be new faces on the grid for 2025. Among those, include rookies Jack Doohan (Alpine), Gabriel Bortoleto (Kick Sauber), Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), and Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls).

Carlos Sainz will also be making his first media appearance with Williams, while Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman will be teammates at Haas.

A first look at the cars on track will be on offer during pre-season testing, which takes place between February 26-18 in Bahrain. Testing will be broadcast to U.S. fans on ESPN.

Following that, all eyes switch to Albert Park in Melbourne, as the F1 season proper gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix across the weekend of March 14-16.
