One of the games on tap from Sunday’s NBA slate features the Milwaukee Bucks hosting the Philadelphia 76ers. Which team will succeed in ending its losing streak in our Bucks vs Sixers pick?

Bucks Look Overcome Recent Struggles

On the heels of a four-game losing skid, the Bucks have split their last two games, including a 115-110 defeat at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.

Five players reached double figures in that contest, including three of the team’s starters. Bobby Portis put together a solid performance. He scored 26 points, pulled down 15 boards, and handed out six assists.

Damian Lillard just missed notching a triple-double, as he finished with 23 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. Gary Trend Jr. added 19 points off the bench, while Brook Lopez finished with 16.

Milwaukee led by what appeared to be a comfortable 73-55 margin at the break. However, Atlanta rallied from that deficit, thanks to a decisive 60-37 scoring edge in the second half, including a 37-17 advantage in the third quarter.

Sixers Look To Snap Two-Game Skid

On the other side of the matchup, following a 118-116 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 4, the Sixers have dropped their last two games, including a 125-112 decision against the Detroit Pistons.

In a game where all five starters reached double figures, Tyrese Maxey led the charge with 27 points and seven assists, connecting on four of his 10 attempts from beyond the arc.

Joel Embiid poured in 23 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr. finished with 14 points each.

Detroit took a 78-49 lead into the break. However, the Sixers did not go away quietly as they trimmed the deficit to 11 points with five minutes left to play in regulation.

But Malik Beasley, who scored a career-high 36 points for the Pistons, knocked down two 3-point baskets to help seal the victory for Detroit.

The Sixers created a formidable trio when it acquired Paul George to play alongside Embiid and Maxey during the offseason.

Unfortunately, they have played just 11 times together this season. Philly is 7-4 in those games.

Bucks vs Sixers Pick: Milwaukee Gets Its Seventh Straight “W” Over Philadelphia

The Bucks have dropped five of their previous six games and are an okay team at both ends of the floor. The good news is they are 16-8 on their home floor.

Meanwhile, the Sixers are 2-4 across their last six contests and rank in the bottom third in offensive efficiency and defensive rating.

Milwaukee has owned Philadelphia, winning six straight in this series. While both teams come into this matchup following a loss, the Bucks’ head-to-head dominance over the Sixers will continue.
