Rebels in Danger

Ole Miss are in danger of losing their ranking if they don’t come up with a statement win here. The Rebels have lost three straight, all to ranked opponents, and look a shell of a team that started this season.

To make matters worse, they face #1 Auburn and #12 Kentucky after this game, which makes a win all the more important.

Guard Sean Pedulla will need to grasp some old form and get his team scoring in the paint. The player also leads the team in steals, a key part of the Rebels defence, and one they will rely on heavily here.

Longhorns Firing on All Cylinders

After some sketchy form, Texas have won two games in a row vs. ranked opponents. The Longhorns had fallen to heavy defeats to the SEC’s big boys previously, but have recovered and look to be on a streak.

Tre Johnson is averaging 18.8 points per game and will be looking at this game to continue his hot form.

Texas aren’t spectacular in any category but have levelled up when it comes to clutch plays. Not the team you want to play when form is hard to find.

Ole Miss vs. Texas Pick

Ole Miss have truly fallen off, and facing a hot team like Texas isn’t what you want right now.

Despite their flaws, if Tre Johnson gets up to speed, I’m taking Texas to continue the Rebels fall off.
