If you’re looking for UFC Fight Night 250 picks, you’re at the right place. We will now analyze all the biggest matchups on the UFC Riyadh fight card, sharing our top predictions along the way.

Let’s start with the main event of the evening, in which we’ll witness Israel Adesanya’s attempt to end his losing run by beating Nassourdine Imavov.

Israel Adesanya vs. Nassourdine Imavov – Izzy’s Return to Spotlight

FighterOdds
Israel Adesanya-155
Nassourdine Imavov+135

For the first time since summer 2018, Israel Adesanya is not fighting in a PPV event. The reason why he got demoted to a Fight Night event is that he lost his last two fights.

However, both of those were UFC Middleweight Championship fights – against Dricus du Plessis (by submission) and Sean Strickland (by decision).

In fact, each of Adesanya’s last 12 were for the championship belt – 11 for the middleweight crown and one for the light heavyweight title.

He wants to get back into the title conversation ASAP, and for that, he’s got no other option but to beat Imavov.

Sharabutdin Magomedov vs. Michael Page – Will the Pirate Stay Undefeated?

FighterOdds
Shara Magomedov-175
Michael Page+150

The one-eyed pirate from Dagestan is 15-0 overall with 12 wins by knockout/technical knockout.

He had his best performance ever in his last fight when he beat Armen Petrosyan by a double spinning-backfist – which earned him the Performance of the Night bonus.

Fast-forward to February 3 and he’s fighting another kickboxing maestro, Michael Page. While MVP’s skillset is pretty similar to the one of Petrosyan, he is more of a tactical fighter who does very well defensively.

This explains why he lost only one of his 26 fights by KO/TKO. We don’t think Shara will change that, but we do think he’s going to win in the end, probably by points.

Sergei Pavlovich vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik – Clash of Heavyweight Titans

FighterOdds
Sergei Pavlovich-335
Jairzinho Rozenstruik+275

Our prediction is that this fight will end in a knockout. But who will knock out who? Will it be Sergei Pavlovich whose last seven wins all happened by KO/TKO? Or will it be Jairzinho Rozenstruik whose knockout-to-win ratio is 86.66%?

We think it’s going to be the Russian fighter. Sure, he lost his last two fights, but those defeats happened to Tom Aspinall (probably the best heavyweight in the world right now) and Alexander Volkov (a 6’7 giant).

UFC Fight Night 250 Picks for All Remaining Fights

  • Said Nurmagomedov vs. Vinicius Oliveira – Said Nurmagomedov (-152)
  • Muhammad Naimov vs. Kaan Ofli – Muhammad Naimov (-290)
  • Shamil Gaziev vs. Thomas Petersen – Shamil Gaziev (-330)
  • Terrance McKinney vs. Damir Hadžović – Terrance McKinney (-500)
  • Jasmine Jasudavicius vs. Mayra Bueno Silva – Jasmine Jasudavicius (-230)
  • Bogdan Grad vs. Lucas Alexander – Bogdan Grad (+100)
  • Hamdy Abdelwahab vs. Jamal Pogues – Hamdy Abdelwahab (-110)

Our prediction is that we won’t see too many betting upsets on February 1. Most of our UFC Fight Night 250 picks are fighters with minus-money odds. The only exception is Bogdan Grad, but even he isn’t too big an underdog at +100.

Actually, when the betting markets opened, the Austrian fighter was a -200 favorite. His odds have moved against him since, but we still think he stands a very good chance against Lucas Alexander.
