If you’re looking for 2025 PFL 3 picks, you’re at the right place as we’ll now preview all of the Professional Fighters League fights scheduled for Friday, April 18.
Our prediction is that the event at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando is going to be a real banger, with all the fights delivering fireworks, but especially the main event of the evening – Impa Kasanganay vs. Fabian Edwards – which is the bout we’ll analyze first.
Impa Kasanganay vs. Fabian Edwards: A Spectacle in the PFL 3 Main Event
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Impa Kasanganay | -205 |
Fabian Edwards | +175 |
We’ll start our PFL 3 (2025) picks with one focused on the main event, which is a middleweight clash between former PFL Light Heavyweight champ Impa Kasanganay and former Bellator two-time title challenger Fabian Edwards.
Kasanganay is a former UFC fighter, who fans probably remember for being on the wrong end of one of the most spectacular knockouts in the history of MMA – a spinning back kick KO by Joaquin Buckley.
What’s interesting, however, is that after the humiliating loss, Kasanganay bounced back straight away with a submission win against Sasha Palatnikov.
He didn’t stay in the UFC for much longer afterward. Instead, he moved to the PFL – after a small bout in Eagle FC and XMMA – where he went 6-0 and won the 2025 Light Heavyweight tournament, which brought $1 million into his bank account.
Kasanganay then lost by split decision to Johhny Eblen in the fight for PFL vs. Bellator Champion of Champions, only to get back into a winning run of three straight wins. Then, in his most recent fight, he got KO-ed again, this time by Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov in another $1M fight.
He’s hoping to bounce back with a win over Leon Edwards’ brother Fabian, who’s not as dangerous a knockout artist as his previous opponent. Instead, the Englishman is a much more well-rounded fighter, who fights smartly and never rushes anything.
This is why we think the fight will last until the final bell. But we do think Kasanganay will win – our prediction is that he will out-strike Edwards.

Impa Kasanganay (-205)

Vinicius Cerci vs. Brent Primus – Not Yet Time for Retirement?
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Vinicius Cerci | +290 |
Brent Primus | -355 |
Brent Primus was originally meant to fight his archnemesis Alexandr Shabliy. Those two met once already. It happened in 2022 when we saw Shabliy beat Primus by a TKO. Fast-forward to April 18, and Shabliy vs. Primus 2 was supposed to happen at PFL Week 3, but the Russian pulled out of the fight.
Primus wanted revenge, but that wasn’t his only motive to do well on Friday evening. He will stay motivated because he needs to put on a good performance to keep his career alive after suffering a nasty KO loss to Gadzi Rabadanov.
It wouldn’t be such a major problem if he were younger, but the American fighter has just turned 40.
The good news for him is that he’s got a new opponent for the April 18 event, who’s nowhere near as good as Shabliy. Plus, Cenci is stepping in on short notice, so Primus should have a relatively easy job in Orlando.
Pick
Brent Primus (-330)

Gadzhi Rabadanov vs. Marc Diakiese: Best PFL 3 Underdog Bet?
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Gadzhi Rabadanov | -500 |
Marc Diakiese | +375 |
So far, our 2025 PFL predictions have been pretty reasonable – we backed the betting favorite in the main and co-main events.
But we do have some PFL 3 picks with plus-money odds. One of those is the pick for the Gadzhi Rabadanov vs. Marc Diakiese fight, in which we’re backing the underdog.
We think Diakiese will upset the odds and beat last year’s PFL champion, who won the $1M prize by destroying Brent Primus with punches. Rabadanov did something similar in the semifinal of last year’s tournament, in which he KO-ed Michael Dufort.
Those wins have turned him into a PFL star and have probably skyrocketed his confidence. But being overly confident is a double-edged sword, especially if you have to fight such an experienced opponent as Diakiese.
Nicknamed Bonecrusher, Diakiese is a former UFC fighter who’s never been KO-ed even though he fought against some elite strikers – Rafael Fiziev, Dan Hooker, and Damir Hadžović.
Our prediction is that Rabadanov won’t KO him either. Instead, we think that Diakiese will tire Gadzi out, taking the fight to the distance and winning by decision.

Marc Diakiese (+375)

PFL Week 3 Picks for All Remaining Fights on April 18
- Mads Burnell (+113) vs. Jay-Jay Wilson (-143) – Jay-Jay Wilson
- Sadibou Sy (-140) vs. Dalton Rosta (+120) – Sadibou Sy
- Josh Silveira (-240) vs. Mike Shipman (+205) – Josh Silveira
- Clay Collard (-122) vs. Alfie Davis (-108) – Clay Collard
- Aaron Jeffery (+150) vs. Murad Ramazanov (-180) – Murad Ramazanov
- Khalid Murtazaliev (-190) vs. Nick Maximov (+160) – Khalid Murtazaliev
There you have it, our 2025 PFL 3 picks for all remaining fights. We’re pretty confident most of them will win, with Sadibou Sy and Clay Collard standing out as the safest bets.
Sy is a PFL millionaire who won the Welterweight tournament two years ago. Since then, we saw him move all the way up to the Light Heavyweight Division, where he didn’t do well. But he’s now moving down to the Middleweight Division, where he’s fighting Dalton Rosta on April 18.
This guy has a decent record of 6-1, but he’s never fought against such an experienced fighter as Sy. Another veteran stepping into PFL’s Smart Cage on Friday evening is Clay Collard, who’s a former UFC fighter with 40 bouts under his belt.
This guy lost four of his last five fights, so winning in Orlando is a must for him. Luckily for Collard, he should be able to defeat Alfie Davis, a former Bellator fighter who just doesn’t do well in big fights.
